Problems arise for Delhi as Pollard makes a comeback

Kieron-PollardApart from the fact that the Delhi Daredevils are on a roll in third season of IPL as the team has registered two consecutive wins against strong teams like Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab, the home advantage may also prove a little less for them in their third encounter against Mumbai.

While Trinidadian Kieron Pollard is available for selection along with Dwyane Bravo for the playing XI, the opening duo of the Delhi Daredevils Sehwag and Gambhir will be aiming to take on the arch rivals from the word go. With the two foreigners from West Indies and Lasith Malinga almost certain to make it to the playing eleven, it is toss between Ryan McLaren and Sanath Jayasuria for the fourth place.

Notably, there are only four foreigners allowed in a team. The third encounter which will take place on the Kotla turf on Wednesday, Delhi will have a challenge to make a hat-trick of wins in the thirds season of this much-popular cricket tournament. In fact, the Kolkata Knight Riders earlier failed to register their third consecutive win; hence, it will be interesting to see if Delhi is able to achieve the milestone.
