South Indian actress Ranjitha, who was last seen in a small role in Mani Ratnam’s film Raavanan, is making her big screen return in Mollywood with Puthumughangal. The film was supposed to release last year but Ranjitha’s alleged involvement in the Swami Sex scandal, led to the delay as it took some time to shoot the incomplete portion by her.

In fact, the makers of Raavanan were initially planning to delete her portions in the film but finally it was retained. Now, Ranjitha is all set to make her presence felt in Mollywood with Puthumughangal, which has been directed by Dawn Alex.

It will be her second appearance on the big screen after the sex scandal. Prakash Payyoly has written the story of the movie, which has been produced by Salavuddin. The screenplay and dialogues have been penned down by Pradeep Kavunthara. The lyrics have been penned down by Ramesh Kavil and Vayalar Saratchandra Varma. Syam Dharman has given the music in the film.

Actors like Sarassi, Salimkumar, Thushar, Harisree Asokan, Ameera, Silsila Githa and Lalu Alex can be seen in the supporting roles.

We hope the second innings of Ranjitha goes well and audiences accept her again in the industry after that scandal!
