Ratan Tata is the epitome of sincerity, truthfulness and inspirational leadership, is how Maharashtra Governor K. Sankaranarayanan explained the entrepreneur while declaring him with the 'Businessman of the Decade Award'.

After giving the prize on behalf of the Federation of Indo-Israeli Chambers of Commerce, Gov. Sankaranarayanan valuated Tata for placing the nation foremost and maintaining morality and trusteeship in businesses.

The governor also said that the Tata Group touched the life of every Indian by some means.

The governor said, "The Tatas freshen our mornings with their tea, they bring taste to our food with their salt. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the Tata Group touches the life of every Indian in one way or the other."

Praising the attempts of the Federation of Indo-Israel Chambers of Commerce for encouraging closer B2B associations between India and Israel, Sankaranarayanan stated that dealings between the two nations had witnessed a fast growth across a broad spectrum since diplomatic ties between the two nations were set up in the year 1992.

The governor experienced that the country and Israel should augment their teamwork in regions such as science and technology, tourism, agriculture and water management.

After the felicitation, Tata stated that he was rather embarrassed to hear words of praise showered on him by speaker after speaker.
