Los Angeles - Reese Witherspoon is to star in and produce the movie Rule #1, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The movie centres on the story of a friendship between a Puerto Rican girl with attention deficit disorder and a rich New York woman.

No director is yet attached to the film, which was written by Terrel Seltzer, who co-wrote One Fine Day, starring Michelle Pfeiffer and George Clooney.(dpa)
