Bell had been struggling with his form in the recent months, but has made vital contributions in the tour of South Africa.
“We''re looking for him to make consistent and medium to long-term contributions and not just nip in with a couple of scores. These have been fine contributions, but we''re looking for a lot more from him. England invested a lot with Ian Bell and this is some of him paying England back,” The Guardian quoted Flower, as saying.
Pak-England to play T20 series in UAE

Lahore, Dec. 25 : Pakistan and England are likely to play each other in two T20 internationals in Dubai.
The matches would be held at the Dubai Sport City Stadium just ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup.
“Discussions are progressing between both cricket boards and the series of two twenty20 international matches to be scheduled after Pakistan’s Australia tour,” a website quoted UAE cricket authorities, as saying.
Pakistan would wrap up its Oz tour on February 5, while the English team is currently in South Africa.

Coventry, England - Indian-owned carmaker Jaguar is said to be working on a bold new five-door sports hatchback with lightweight aluminium bodywork and a sporting estate version of the XF saloon to coincide with a facelift for the model.
According to Britain's Autocar magazine, the five-seater has not yet been given the go-ahead but top executives of the company owned by Tata are believed to be strongly in favour. The car will take its styling cues from the R-D6 concept hatch shown at the 2003 Frankfurt show.

Gaydon, England - Land Rover is going ahead with plans to manufacture the striking new LRX compact offroad coupe first shown as a concept at last year's Detroit show.
The Indian-owned automaker, which bought Land Rover from Ford, officially announced the plans at its Gaydon plant in England where the car will be designed and built.

Technical details are sketchy but the car is thought to have regenerative braking as standard and use the drivetrain from the 7-series limousine made by German parent company BMW.

London - Everton manager David Moyes confirmed on Wednesday that defender Joleon Lescott will not play against Sigma Olomouc in the Europa League on Wednesday.
"Joleon's attitude has not been right these past days," he said.

London - Arsenal sent out a warning that they intend to be contenders for the English Premier League title this year after they stormed to a 6-1 win at Everton on the opening day of the new season.

London - England coach Fabio Capello has revealed that Aston Villa's Ashley Young will deputise for the injured Steven Gerrard when England take on the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
Gerrard went back to his club, Liverpool to nurse a groin strain, and Capello decided that Young will replace him on the left side of his midfield.
"It will be a good test for Ashley," Capello said. "He has only played twice for me but the last time he did very well. It will be a good test for him."
