Ryan Villopoto has won the AMA Supercross race at Angel Stadium in Los Angeles on Sunday, scoring the second win for the racer from Poulsbo.
Villopoto took the lead in the race in the race and finished laps much ahead of James Stewart, who stood second and Chad Reed, who finished third.
Villopoto said, "The track was really slippery. I really couldn't make a mistake."

The "Twilight" star became engaged to former "American Idol" contestant McDonald earlier this year. Rumours of their wedding started after the couple were seen wearing matching gold bands on their ring fingers.
But Reed's spokesperson has dismissed the claims, saying the rings were simply a sign of their commitment to one another.

Los Angeles, Aug 23: Kimberly Stewart, the daughter of singer Rod Stewart, and Puerto Rican actor Benicio del Toro are the parents of a newborn girl, the online edition of Us Weekly reported Monday.
The birth took place in a Los Angeles hospital. It is the first child for both Stewart, 31, and the 44-year-old Del Toro.
Del Toro and Stewart are not linked officially, but the actor's representative confirmed in April that he was the father of the child Stewart was carrying.
"Benicio is the father and is very supportive," the representative said at the time.

The Los Angeles Times has reported that Jose Gomez is to take over the Los Angeles archdiocese in February, when Mahoney reaches the mandatory retirement age of 75.

Los Angeles, Jan 12 - The father who triggered a massive alert after falsely claiming his six-year-old son was adrift in an experimental helium balloon headed to jail Monday to serve a 90-day sentence after pleading guilty in November to a felony charge of attempting to influence a public servant.
Richard Heene will serve 30 days in a standard jail and 60 days in a work release programme that will allow him to work during the day and spend nights in jail. He was also sentenced to four years probation, 200 hours of community service and was banned from receiving any form of financial benefit from the infamous incident.

Los Angeles, Dec 22 - A California appeals court Monday rejected a bid by lawyers for Roman Polanski to have his child-sex case thrown out on the grounds of judicial and prosecutorial misconduct.

Titan looks to be the only place in the solar system aside from Earth to have copious quantities of liquid (largely, liquid methane and ethane) on its surface.
The new discovery suggests that Earth and Titan share yet another feature, which is inextricably linked with that surface liquid: common fog, according to researchers at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).

Los Angeles, Dec 17 - An estimated 15 percent of American teenagers have received nude or sexually suggestive photographs on their cell phones, according to a study Wednesday by the Pew Internet and American Life Project.
The study about the tech-fueled trend called "sexting" said that boys are as likely as girls to send "sexts," while teens who pay for their own cell phone bills are more likely to text salacious shots.
