Surya the southern superstar plays the perfect nemesis to Vivek’s character and stands his ground with his solid portrayal of Suryanarayan Reddy. Shatrughan Sinha does a superb job as a corrupt Chief Minister who moves others like pawns to serve his ends. Zarina Wahab’s role is small but she does an excellent job with her facial expressions that leaves an indelible mark on the audience’s mind. In fact, the entire cast has put up a magnificent performance and the movie has the potential to become a cult classic.

This is a story about a one man’s rise to power and how he avenged the death of his family members. Rakht Charitra serves a deadly concoction of politics, family feuds, caste-crimes, and assassinations with engaging story telling.
