Samsung ‘Soul’ & ‘L700’ Mobile Phones Unveiled

Samsung has made announcement about the launching of its two new Samsung's L700 Mobile Phone premium bar type mobile phones, named ‘Soul’ and ‘L700,’ which offers perfect style and outstanding features for high-end users.

Housed in a sleek silhouette and metallic body with a stylish hairline pattern, Samsung ‘Soul’ phone comes in five luscious colors that include Soul Grey, Platinum Silver, Metallic Black, Soul Pink, Amethyst Violet and Red.

The amazing features of the stylish phone comprises an 3-megapixel camera together with Power LED, 2.0” QVGA 16M Color TFT display, office document viewer, high-velocity HSDPA for web surfing, and Bluetooth functionality. Moreover, it also carries a music player, video editor and recorder, FM radio (RDS) and 1GB internal memory.

Compatible with MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, WMA, RA file formats, the phone comes packed with 3.5 mm kennel stereo earphone plus 3.5 mm gender.

The L700 comes in a metal pressing body, and has a 2.1 inch TFT display and large keypad for easy functioning.

The other outstanding features of L700 include a 2-megapixel camera with Flash LED, Office document viewer, Music Player with video playing capabilities, FM Radio, Bluetooth. It is 3G (WEDGE) network compliant and for full internet browsing.

Besides all these features, the phone comes equipped with 30MB internal memory and Micro SD. It also backs up MP3, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+, WMA, RA file formats.

Geesung Choi, President of Samsung’s Telecom Business, stated, “The launch of L700 reinforces Samsung’s established leadership in developing stylish, full-featured mobile phones across a variety of form factors including the slider, clamshell and bar.”

Expected to launch in most of the European, African, Asian and South American regions, the Soul is already available in Germany.

On the other hand, the Samsung L700 phone is expected to launch in Eastern Europe by the coming month (July 2008), followed by Europe, Middle East, Southwest Asia and Southeast Asia. The pricing details are still unknown.
