Washington, Sep 5 : American actress Sarah Jessica Parker has had to increase her security after she was mobbed by fans during the filming of the new ‘Sex and the City’ movie.

Parker, 44, started shooting the second movie in New York earlier this week, and she has been hounded so much by over-enthusiastic fans that her security detail is said to look like a president’s.

“The film’s security team looked more like they were protecting the president than Sarah Jessica Parker,” Contactmusic quoted a source as saying.

“At one point, teenage girls were practically trampling each other trying to get to Sarah Jessica as she was walking back to her trailer, but her security team was shoving everyone out of the way,” the source said.

Parker, who plays fashionista Carrie Bradshaw in the film sequel, begged her bodyguards to be gentle with onlookers.

“She was telling them not to hurt the fans. She looked upset and extremely concerned. The guards were getting pretty rough,” another source told the New York Daily News. (ANI)
