Sindhu drops out of top-10

Spain’s Carolina Marin jumped three places to No. 10, overtaking the Indian. Meanwhile, Saina Nehwal retained her No. 8 spot.

Parupalli Kashyap's semi-final appearance at the Swiss Open and the quarter-final performance at the India Open bore fruit as he re-entered the top-20 of men’s singles in 19th position.

The Hyderabadi has leapt four places while reigning national champion Kidambi Srikanth remains stagnant at No. 25.
