Sony might hint on releasing its new tablet device that could be a rival of iPad, but it is clueless if the device still has a market for it or not. The reports made by the senior VP for IT products, Mike Abary claims that the company has been experimenting on the present device, which have some interesting opportunities.

The VP didn't hint on whether it might release the upstaged version of its Sony reader tablet. Apparently the company is credited with its line-up of fastest growing gadgets in terms of units. On the other hand, the Apple is already running short with its tablet device and plans to restock both in US and UK market with the 3G versions. This popular format is fast gaining attention as players like Acer, Asus, MSI and Dell have already hinted of launching a tablet PC that runs on ARMdroid platform.
