Swine flu cases rise in Orissa Recent reports claim Swine flu to be on a constant rise with state gripping in fear and also the latest being one more person tested positive for swine flu in Orissa.

The total number of cases of infected people rose to 74 since July, an official reported.

The recent news came from all the way from Bhubaneswar, Bikash Patnaik, joint director of the state health department told IANS, stating that the throat swabs of other two susceptive people were stated to be negative giving a sigh a relief to the family members.

However no fresh reports have come up stating of the fact that any deaths occurred due to the H1N1 virus in recent days. But earlier the disease had already killed 16 people so far in the Orissa state since the start of July.

At the moment nine of the individuals are undergoing a medical treatment in various private and government healthcares, a source confirmed.
