System Specs for Windows 7 need not be high; says MicrosoftMicrosoft has released a patch, which will help users in running Windows 7 on the system with the specifications of Windows XP.

As the update features on the website a spokesman from Microsoft reported, "We are announcing an update to Windows XP Mode today that will make it more accessible to PCs in small and midsize businesses who want to migrate to Windows 7 Professional but have applications that still require Windows XP".

The patch has been released in order to capitalise on the current business of small-and mid-sized markets across the world. Unknown of the performance parameters, the company ensured that companies would upgrade their software as it provides the higher version of the software in minimal specs.

Prior to the announcement Windows 7 XP mode was available only with systems, which were endowed with Intel Virtualization Technology or AMD-V or the higher versions of it. Microsoft, which introduced Windows 7 in October
2009 has availed Professional and Ultimate versions of the OS. It is believed to capture lot of attention and rule out all the loopholes which were causing an obstruction.
