You can now find the Transcend all-in-one USB card reader P8 in new colors. Transcend has released its all-in-one USB card reader P8 in pearly pink, baby blue, black, and white colors, in the Indian market. The new colors allow customers to pick the technology according to their personal tastes.  

The ultra portable, compactly built (77.7mm x 46mm x 15.8mm) all-in-one USB card reader P8 features streamlined design with rounded edges. The 36g Transcend P8 comes loaded with photo recovery software, which helps to restore lost or damaged files, including documents, spreadsheets, music and videos.

The Transcend P8 is fully compliant with the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 specification, and features an LED, which indicates data traffic and card insertion. It can operate high-speed Ultra DMA transfer modes while using high-speed 300X CompactFlash cards.

The Transcend P8 offers compatibility with the new SDHC standard, and a wide range of card types including CF, SD, microSDHC, microSD/TransFlash, MultiMediaCard (MMC), MMCplus, RS-MMC, MMCmobile, Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, M2, MS PRO-HG Duo and MMCmicro, and many other cards, without need for an additional adapter.

The Transcend P8 functions in the voltage range between 2.7V and 3.6V, and the temperature range from 0°C to 70°C, It supports up to 10,000 insertion/removal cycles. Presently, the all-in-one USB card reader Transcend P8 is available in pearly pink (P8R), baby blue (P8A), black (P8K) and white (P8W) versions, via Redington, Supertron, Mediaman and Luminous Technologies. The Transcend P8 is priced at Rs. 750, with a two-year warranty.
