TV stars to perform in Tere Liye's Durga Puja celebrationsOctober 6, 2010 : Star Plus is going to make this festive season a reason to celebrate with its show ‘Tere Liye’, which is set on the backdrop of Bengal. ‘Durga Puja’ is considered to be the biggest festival of the Bengalis and the channel is trying to fetch some TRPs this season by celebrating the festival in a grand manner with some well-known TV stars taking part in the festival organized on the ‘Tere Liye’ sets.

The two Bengali families in the show are preparing to celebrate ‘Durga Utsav’. It is not only the two lead actors Taani and Anurag, who will be the focus during the festival, but the show will bring in some big names of the television industry like Sakshi Tanwar to perform during the celebration.

On October 16, this special episode of ‘Tere Liye’ will be aired for two hours. The popular ‘bahu’ of television ‘Parvati’ aka Sakshi Tanwar will give a wonderful performance on the number ‘Hey naam re’ from the movie Suhaag.

A huge pandal will be constructed at Anurag’s house and the special celebrity guests will perform there.

A source was quoted saying that the viewers will get to see many wonderful performances by television actress like Urvashi Dholakia, Sayantani Ghosh, Juhi Parmar, Reshmi Ghosh and Mouni Roy.

The source said that Sakshi has already shot her portion and the other television stars have also given their commitments. They will shoot sometime later as per their schedules. On this special episode, viewers will also get to see an unexpected twist in the story of ‘Tere Liye’. After this special episode on 16th, the show will turn more interesting.

Mouni Roy has confirmed that she is performing in the show. The actress said that being a Bengali she is looking forward to perform during this ‘Durga Utsav’ celebration.
