The threat of swine flu has not completely moved out from the country as recently two more case of the HINI virus have been identified in Kolkata. These cases have made the total of the swine flu infected affected cases as 14.
Out of the total number around six cases have already been cured while the others are under treatment at treatment at ID Hospital in Beliaghata and in two private hospitals in the city.
The recent cases have been of a man and a woman hailing in their thirties. While the woman is form Batanagar and is associated with ID hospital itself and the man is resides in salt lake.
However the health officials have denied of any panic or emergency situation prevailing in the area. Infact the officials have maintained that the number of cases have been surging downward.
Interestingly this highly contagious flu has a low mortality rate and less than five in a thousand patients die of virus.
