Leading steel manufacturing company of the country, Visa Steel has declared its fourth quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2009-10. The company has posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 16.5 crore for the quarter that ended in 31st March, 2010. It was reported to be a loss of Rs 110 crore for the fourth quarter last year.

The net sales of the company were reported to be at Rs 399 crore for this quarter. It was Rs 266 crore for the fourth quarter in the preceding year. So far as the total revenue of the firm is concerned, it has touched Rs 407 crore for the quarter under review. It has increased from Rs 290 crore for the same quarter last year.

The annual net revenue of the company was reported to be of Rs 1,171 crore for the fiscal year as compared to Rs 1,040 crore last year. The annual profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 47.5 crore from minus Rs 47 crore in the previous year.
