The 'out-of-bundle,' which was in talks, has been officially released for the users of Vodafone, starting its services from June.

This hints that one, who does not have a monthly plan, will be charged extra, a 50 pence for every 10MB, after the first 25MB. The ones with a bundled plan will have to pay£5 for every 500MB of excess after the first 500MB.

The spokesperson from Vodafone stated that subscribers will be notified via a text message if they are about to exceed their data limit of 500MB Flexi or Value Pack limit.

For the first few months, defaulters will be sent out a warning to tone down their usage, or switch to a more appropriate plan. But if it is seen that the tale continues to repeat, then Vodafone will apply the aforementioned penalties.

This move is taken in direction of protection of network abuse.
