Winners and losers at the Golden Kela awards

2-Golden-Kela-AwardsThe second edition of the annual Golden Kela awards has concluded after much finger pointing fun and bashing of the worst films of 2009. Golden Kela is the Indian version of the Razzies that spoof the Oscars.

The leading films which received many awards include, 'Chandni Chowk to China', 'What's Your Rashee?' as well as 'Kambakkht Ishq', which took the award for the worst film of 2009.

The leading actress in winning Kambakkht Ishq, Kareena Kapoor landed with the award for worst actress for her supposedly humorous performance in the film. The award function organizers did not forget to honor the international entries in the film, Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards.

Among other winners, "Chandni Chowk to China" picked up awards for supporting cast Ranvir Shorey and Deepika Padukone. The organizers awarded a special "insensitivity" award to Warner Bros. production.

Sandra Bullock in a bit of surprise landed to pick her award at Razzies event but in India none of the nominees or winners turned up in the event in New Delhi.

The event wasn't ignored completely as Abhishek Bachchan after winning worst accent award for "Delhi 6" wrote on twitter, "At least 'Delhi 6' won something. I'm overjoyed."

The third big winner, "What's Your Raashee" received the award for worst director for Ashutosh Gowariker and worst actor went to Harman Baweja.

The awards were decided after more than 300,000 people voted online for the winners this year.
