St Augustine's High School, Nerul won the 24th Navi Mumbai School's Association Athletic Meet title which was conducted at the Navi Mumbai Sports Association from February 18 to February 20. 124 athletes participated from the school. 

Augustine's bagged 121 points to win the championship. Fr Agnel Multipurpose School, Vashi finished second with 107 points while Ryan International School, Kharghar stood third with 57 points. Augustine's took the lead with a huge difference in points and the children were prepared to give their 100 per cent in all the events at the meet. Sports In-Charge of St Augustine's High School Nerul Sunil Poojari said, "We used to say our athletes that we have to win as many events as possible and take the lead. We had dreamt of winning the championship right from the time the meet was announced."

He added, "Our principal Lily Zachariah supported us a lot by adjusting the academic schedule according to the practice sessions. We are very thankful to her."
