Washington, Dec 9 : Brit actress Dame Helen Mirren has vowed never to leave Britain for Hollywood, as she just cannot bear the idea of being away from her native homeland.

Mirren does make her trip to the U. S. when she is filming movies, but she prefers to have her permanent residence in the UK.

The Queen star is so adamant to stay on that even a threatening recession will not budge her or tempt her to make a move to Los Angeles.

“Absolutely not. You sit these things out and if anything, it''s a time to be more loyal and committed to your country. This is my home. It always will be,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying. (ANI)
