Demi Moore’s Twitter posts save suicidal woman’s lifeLondon, Apr 4: It was Demi Moore’s quick thinking that saved a suicidal woman’s life, as the actress’ immediate posts on Twitter helped cops reach the woman in question.

The ‘Ghost’ actress was baffled as to how to react when she received a post from a 48-year-old suicidal woman on her Twitter page.

"Getting a knife, a big one that is sharp. Going to cut my arm down the whole arm so it doesn''t waste time," the Telegraph quoted the woman’s post as reading.

However, Moore did not take the post lightly and urged all Twitter users to call the police.

"Everyone I was very torn about responding or retweeting that woman''s post but felt uncomfortable just letting it go,” Moore told her fans through her Twitter page.

After receiving Moore’s post, multifarious fans called the police.

The San Jose Police Department has confirmed that it had received many calls from all over the place.

The woman was found unharmed by the police, and was taken to a near by hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

Moore later thanked all her fans for immediately calling the police.

"Thanks everyone for reaching out to the San Jose PD i am told they are aware and no need to call anymore,” she stated.

"I do not know this woman. The actress, famous for her role in the blockbuster film Ghost, added: "It is my understanding that the situation was not a joke and that through the collective efforts here action was taken to provide help!" she added. (ANI)
