Kingfisher East Bengal has won the Calcutta Football League match against Mohammedan Sporting Club. The match is played at Salt Lake stadium. East Bengal has now 18 points from 10 matches and it is at the third place.

The stadium was flooded with visitors.  The position of East Bengal became stronger following the return of Syed Rahim Nabi, Sunil Chhetri, Subrata Paul and Renedy Singh from a national clinical show.

The introduction of national level players in the team helped the east Bangal to win the mach. The presence of Mike Okoro and Theodore can not stop the team to win the mach.
