DUBAI, Dec. 04th, 2008 (WAM)--Emirates Airline has announced to begin extra flights between Dubai and Lagos with effect from Feb. 1, 2009.

The launch of the second daily flight from Dubai to Lagos will boost commercial and investment channels between Nigeria and the UAE on one hand and the UAE and West Africa countries on the other.

Salem Obaidullah, First Vice President of Commercial Operations of Africa, East Asia and Indian Ocean, said the announcement reflect major development of our operations in Africa. It comes after four years from the launching of our maiden trip to Lagos".(WAM/MN)
