Fire In Taj Hotel, No Casualty
On early Tuesday, Taj Hotel’s new building in south Mumbai saw a fire breaking out on its 20th floor.
It was reported by the fire officials that there was no casualties involved in the incident.
“The fire near an unused kitchen of the 20th floor was detected by the hotel's maintenance staff at 7.15 am on Tuesday,” said an official statement from Taj Hotel.
The statement also said that the cause behind the fire could have been short circuit in the kitchen.
The statement concluded, “Fire tenders put out fire and the situation was under control by 8.15 am. There was no damage to property and no one was injured during the incident.”
