London, Nov 17: French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s supporters, who are worried about his inclination towards socialism, believe that his glamorous wife Carla Bruni is behind the shift towards the left.

Sarkozy, famed for his “zero tolerance” policing as interior minister, was once derided on the left as a dangerous right-winger.

But lately he has been showing signs of an ideological rethink— by attacking “fat cats” and the “dictatorship of the market”. He has pledged to create 100,000 state-subsidised jobs.

London, Nov 17: Hollywood actress Dame Helen Mirren has been slammed for claiming that female jurors are less likely to sympathize with female rape victims, as they tend to think the woman was “asking for it”.

The ‘Hamlet’ actress stated that the female jury is not adequately sympathetic towards women due to sexual jealousy, and a lawyer defending a man would want a jury constituting of women.

Sources have revealed that the ace baseball player was seen getting “too comfortable” with the supermodel at the Miami opening of the Fontainebleau Hotel recently.

“Hudson had her arms completely wrapped around A-Rod’s waist and every time he leaned over to talk to anyone she would pull him back toward her,” the New York Daily News quoted a source as saying.

The death rumour, which has now been trashed, depicted the teen star’s “message” to fans while her song lingered in the background.

"Miley died this morning after being hit by a drunk driver. She always told us if anything ever happened to her then tell her loyal fans first before the public. R. I. P Miley, we''ll never forget you!" the Daily Telegraph quoted it as saying.

London, Nov 17 : Rapper Kanye West has likened himself to Princess Diana in an online rant about his arrest over an alleged scuffle with paparazzi photographer in a nightclub in the UK.

The 31-year-old singer was arrested on the suspicion of assaulting a photographer in Newcastle club, but was later released.

West criticised the media, whose practices he deems ‘intrusive’.

“Regardless of how much light I put out there are people working just as hard to only deliver darkness,” British tabloid The Sun quoted him as writing on his blog.
