There are shedloads of people in the Indian market but no one is interested in buying the gadget (iPhone).

Analysts estimated that just 11,000 iPhones have been sold in the whole sub-continent since its launch in September 2008.

According to LiveMint.com even technology giant Apple didn’t consider that the phone would do well in India. It only allocated 50,000 Iphones to that market in the first place.

According to a report in the Globe and Mail, Canada is currently negotiating a nuclear co-operation agreement with India that would allow AECL to re-establish business ties, despite concerns that India has not signed the international nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

Chinese military delegation to visit Nepal

The Chinese delegation is likely to meet Deputy Prime Minister Bamdev Gautam, Defence Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, and Chief of Nepal Army General Rookmangud Katawal during its 5 day visit programme.  

This move is seen a critical point in Nepal politics as the Maoist Govt. of the Himalayan state is trying to integrate 19,600 Maoist soldiers in Nepal Army.

Pak security forces kill 20 militantsPeshawar, Nov 15 : Pakistan security forces pounded the hideouts of suspected militants and criminals in villages located on the boundary between Peshawar and Mohmand Agency with gunship helicopters and artillery, killing 20 militants and injuring 15 others.

“At least, 20 militants were killed and 10-15 others injured in Badi Koruna, Zarif Koruna, Shno Ghundai, Ayeshakor areas of Shabqadar,” Capital City Police Officer Mohammad Suleman said on Friday.

London, Nov 15 : Scientists have found apples that contain a powerful chemical which can help us live longer.

According to boffins, the miracle ingredient – discovered in an old variety of apple – plays a powerful role in boosting heart health and circulation and could even extend life span.

The compound, an epicatechin polyphenol, is found in bitter English apples that were originally grown hundreds of years ago but are now no longer eaten.

Trials have revealed that epicatechin can help maintain a healthy circulation by relaxing arteries and increasing blood flow.

The research was conducted independently by the Institute of Food Research in Norwich.
