Melbourne : Hollywood actress Sharon Stone has ended her whirlwind romance with Chase Dreyfous after being disheartened over loosing the custody battle of one of her two sons.

New Delhi, Nov 17 : American actress Jessica Alba is getting ready to tie the knot again with her hubby Cash Warren, and is set to wear a gown that costs 47,000 dollars.

Alba, who had married Warren in an intimate ceremony earlier this year, is now planning on having a lavish ceremony next month for her friends and family, the China Daily reports.

Despite the poll boycott call by separatists, a record number of 102 candidates are trying their luck for first phase of polling from 10 constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir.

First phase of polling will be held on 17 Nov.

The Election Commission had announced a seven phase polling programme for J&K.

The contituencies going to the polls are - Gurez, Bandipora and Sonawari in the Kashmir Valley, Leh, Nobra, Zanskar and Kargil in the Ladakh region and Surankote, Mendhar and Poonch-Haveli in the Jammu region.

Sonawari and Bandipora will see 22 and 19 candidates respectively in the fray. There are six candidates in Gurez, Poonch-Haveli has 13, Mendhar 12, Surankote 11, five each in Kargil, Leh and Zanskar and four in Nobra.

The actress, now 72, was diagnosed with the life-threatening disease. eight years ago and says she “foolishly refused to take the diagnosis seriously”.

“The doctor told me to take a daily pill to help stop my bones getting any weaker and to take calcium to help keep them strong,” the Daily Express quoted her, as saying.

However, she didn’t pay attention to the advice and now the disease is ravaging her body.

“I don’t want to become a crippled old lady, bent double, who can only shuffle along.”

London, Nov. 17 : Former British Home Secretary John Reid has warned that mass migration and the Internet are major threats to the country’s national security.

According to The Telegraph, Reid also listed cyber attacks, pandemics, global warming and energy shortages as threats.

The MP for Airdie and Shotts said he is setting up a new think tank called the Institute of Security and Resilience Studies to assess long-term threats to the UK and other countries.
