HCL bags IT project worth Rs 393 crore from NIC

HCL bags IT project worth Rs 393 crore from NICIT giant HCL Technologies has managed to bag an order worth Rs 393 crore from National Insurance Company (NIC) to provide information technology related services and operation management modules, necessary to equip NIC with cutting edge technology.

The company, for the project worth Rs 393-crore, is entitled to provide IT services and modernization of business process for a period of seven years to NIC.

Senior Vice President of HCL Technologies for Indian operations, Kiran Bhagwanani said, "Our engagement with NIC is a significant milestone in Indian industry with its large scale business transformation focus and truly world-class sourcing and technology constituents and standards."

CMD of National Insurance Company, V Ramasaamy hailed the partnership with HCL and said, "This partnership with HCL is very significant and critical for our organization."

Mr. Ramasaamy lauded the expertise of HCL in technology up gradation and transformation and expected pragmatic results after the implementation of project.
