Hirani's '3 Idiots' Script Invited to Oscars Library!The Library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has invited the script of record-hitting movie '3 Idiots', penned by Rajkumar Hirani, for its permanent story collection.

Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film was released on Christmas (Dec 25).

The movie, which features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani, has broken earlier records and become the record earner Hindi flick in India as well as in the foreign markets.

Previously, the Oscar library has also invited movie scripts including Lage Raho Munnabhai and Eklavya, which were made under Chopra's banner.

The simple tale of 3 buddies has also broken the thirty-five-year-old record of Sholay to turn out to be the major hit in the history of Hindi cinema.

The movie shows the vitalities of a new India as characterized by Mr. Perfectionist's role, coming from a poor family background, who gets admission in IIT due to his extraordinary talent.

The film centers on indigenous innovations and their application to daily life.
