Hot potatoes: Wiggles again top Australian rich list
Sydney - The children's music group the Wiggles topped the list of Australia's richest entertainers for the fourth year in a row in 2007, the leading business magazine BRW said Wednesday.
Earnings of 45 million Australian dollars (36 million US dollars) put the happy quartet 5 million Australian dollars ahead of resurgent pop princess Kylie Minogue.
Rounding out the top five were actors Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman and Wiggles rivals Hi-5. Nicole Kidman dropped out of the top 10 with earnings of 4.5 million Australian dollars.
But Kidman's husband, country singer Keith Urban, was seventh at 12.3 million. Actor and theatre director Cate Blanchett earned 14 million dollars. (dpa)
