Online Training for free being provided by Microsoft

Online Training for free being provided by Microsoft A novel website dubbed Microsoft Elevate America was unveiled by Microsoft on Sunday, which basically is a portal developed to help consumers, students, and other interested parties with some basic computer skills.

The state governments, including Florida, Oregon, and Washington would be able to avail a complementary version of the site with discounted certifications.

Via Elevate America, the users would be able to gain access to what Microsoft calls its "Unlimited Potential Curriculum," an attractive name for new courses that will teach users how to use a computer.

A statement issued by Pamela Passman, corporate vice president of Microsoft Global Corporate Affairs read, "Millions of Americans don't have the technology skills needed in today's economy. Through Elevate America, we want to help workers get the skills they need to succeed."

Furthermore, it would also be worth noticing that the program will provide vouchers for eLearning course collections offered by Microsoft, vouchers for certification exams leading to Microsoft business certification.

It would also offer grants of cash and software to community partners in order to build in-classroom training capacity, other than providing discounted membership rates for institutions participating in the Microsoft IT Academy program.
