After Farhan Akhtar making a successful debut through “Rock On” there is another writer who is making her debut with John Abraham in 1-800 Love. The debutant can’t believe that her first film is directed by her husband Abbas Tyrewala.

We spoke to Pakhi’s close source about the her debut and film

“She had never expected that she would become an actress as it was Abbas wish and dream to see me on screen. It was Abbas that during the making of Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa was thinking of taking me as an actress in his next venture and she was quite surprised when both John and Abbas told her that “You will act in John’s maiden production film.”

Further our source told us that,” She enjoyed being a good writer and selecting actors/actresses to cast them in the film but to act in front of camera is very difficult and that also when the film is directed by Abbas. To be very confident in acting she is learning acting from her mother Veena Mehta, who has taught Jiah Khan for Nishabd, Genelia De’souza for Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Naa and now its her turn. She goes to her place for 3 hours and on larger extent this will be her major attempt in acting as before this she had acted in an international film but not as lead .The film is romantic and adult comedy. This film will surely be the best of all films of the industry.

Pakhi Tyrewala was unavailable for the comments, but we spoke with the director and her husband Abbas Tyrewala who is also directing the film

“She is attending dance classes, going to gym, dieting learning acting from her mother as shooting of the film will take place in June.

1-800-Love is a forthcoming film to be directed by Abbas Tyrewala of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na fame. This film is an adult comedy. It has John Abraham and newcomer Pakhi Tyrewala in key roles. This film will have music by A. R. Rahman. The film is also co-produced by Ghajini producer Madhu Matena. (Sampurn Media)
