Washington, Jan 19 : British singer Amy Winehouse has been crowned Loser Of The Year for the second time.
The 25-year-old singer won the accolade at the Virgin Media Music Awards 2008, which were voted for by nearly three million members of the public, reports Contactmusic.
Leona Lewis scooped the Best UK Act gong, while The Saturdays won the Best New Act title.
Kylie Minogue was named Legend Of The Year, Best Album went to Kings of Leon''s Only By The Night and the Best Track title was given to Katy Perry''s ''I Kissed A Girl''.
London, Jan 17 : Troubled star Amy Winehouse has said that although hubby Blake Fielder-Civil has filed for divorce, she still loves him - and is just having fun with other men while he's in jail.
Fielder-Civil filed divorce on the grounds of adultery following the 25-year-old singer's widely publicised fling with rugby hunk holidaymaker Josh Bowman, 21.
"I still love my Blake. I won't let him divorce me. He's still in jail but the moment he comes out I'll be there waiting for him," The Sun quoted Amy as saying.
London, Jan 16 : Amy Winehouse, who is holidaying in Caribbean, has hit back at claims that her debauched antics are wrecking the peace of St Lucia's 200-pound-a-night Le Sport Spa resort, insisting "I'm not out of control!"
"People think I'm a mess or something but I'm having such a great time and feeling so good at the moment," the Mirror quoted Winehouse, as saying.
"I'm certainly not out of control as some people have said.
"Yes, I've had a few drinks but I'm on holiday - I'm just young and having fun," she added.
"I'm getting loads of exercise, eating brilliantly and I've really been able to relax.
Washington, Jan 15 : Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has been honoured for her performance at the Grammy Awards last February.
Her show has been nominated as part of Britain''s Creativity + Business International Network''s 2008 review, by Universal Music Group, the Rehab hitmaker''s record label.
Winehouse was due to perform in the US, but because of her 2007 for possession of cannabis in Norway, she was denied a visa and performed her hits `You Know I''m No Good' and `Rehab' via satellite from London.
Universal boss Lucian Grange said that the singer''s talents were worthy of the honour, which had been set up to focus on the UK''s creative economy, produced through the art and entertainment industries.
London, Jan 14 : She might be famous for all the wrong reasons, but Amy Winehouse's popularity has made Universal pictures offer her a role in their upcoming flick, it has emerged.
Universal Pictures bosses have reportedly offered the `Back To Black' hitmaker a role of music teacher in a problematic school who later adds meaning to the lives of students.
The flick is based on the lines of popular flick `Dangerous Minds', where Michelle Pfeiffer played the lead.
