Washington, Mar 12 : Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor will be honoured at the seventh annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles next month.

The 49-year-old actor, who played the role of TV host in the Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire, will be honoured with the screenings of two classic films in which he stars,
1991''s Lahme and 1997''s Virasat, as well as Gandhi, My Father, which he produced.

Washington, Mar 4: Slumdog Millionaire star Anil Kapoor has asked the parents of his young co-stars to focus on their kids’ education rather than acting careers.

The 52-year-old actor, who played Who Wants To Be A Millionaire TV host in the Oscar winning film revealed that he has already spoken to the children''s parents - and offered them advice.

"I told them they shouldn’t focus on getting the children more roles, but focus on education instead,” Contactmusic quoted him as telling HollyScoop. com.

London, February 20: Bollywood star Anil Kapoor has revealed that even he feels that his `Slumdog Millionaire' co-stars Freida Pinto, 24, and Dev Patel, 18, are dating off-screen.

Rumours about Freida and Deve have been spreading ever since it was reported last month that the ex-model had dumped her fiance Rohan Antao.

Kapoor's comment on the speculation came when he appeared on a US radio station.

London, Feb 10 : Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has said that the runaway success of critically acclaimed film `Slumdog Millionaire' will bring a new wave of Western film-makers to India.

The story of an 18-year-old slum boy from rags-to-riches, based on Vikas Swarup's novel Q and A, has raked in more than 60 million pounds worldwide on a 7m pounds budget.

In the film, Kapoor plays a coldly calculating quiz-show host.
