Anil Kapoor London, Jan 23 : Slumdog Millionaire, which has clinched ten Oscar nominations, has generated huge excitement and pride in the home of Bollywood - Mumbai.

It has seen the first ever triple Oscar nomination for an Indian.

Music composer A. R. Rahman has been nominated for Best Original Score and two of his numbers were shortlisted for Best Original Song.

Other nominations include for best motion picture, best director, best adapted screenplay, best film editing, best sound editing, best sound mixing and best cinematography.
