New Delhi, Dec 16 : American pop/R&B singer songwriter Christina Aguilera has likened her staying at home to the life of a hermit.
Aguilera, who had given to birth to son Max Liron from husband Jordan Bratman in January, revealed she prefers spending time at home with her family than attending star-studded parties, reports the China Daily.
"We have become like hermits. It has just been a whole year of moving in and change. But if I''m honest there has been no real reason for me to leave the house," she said.

Aguilera, 27, who gave birth to Max, her first child with Bratman, in January, revealed that they have frequent “date nights”, and that they also love competing against each other in a variety of games, reports the China Daily.
“I have the most wonderful partner in Jordan. We make it a priority to work on our marriage. You have to take it seriously and respect each other and be a team,” she said.
“We always have date nights as well - it helps to keep the marriage alive after you have kids. My husband and I love to play board games together!” she stated.
New Delhi, Nov 26 : Popstar Christina Aguilera is keen on learning how to cook "bad-for-your-arteries" food.
The ‘Keep Getting Better’ hitmaker is hoping that she’s able to make meals like her mother in order to impress 10-month-old Max, her first child with husband Jordan Bratman, reports China Daily.
"My mom loves to cook really southern, good, buttery, salty, delicious, bad-for-your-arteries kind of food, but it is amazing, and I hope to be a cook like that someday because one thing that I look forward to whenever I do go home is tasting my mom''s home cooking,” Aguilera said.
"I want to do the same for Max. Cooking is my next goal in life to achieve,” she added.
New Delhi, Nov 19 : Christina Aguilera, who is still struggling to lose her baby weight, has admitted that she is determined to get back in shape.
The singer, who gave birth to son Max, her first child with husband Jordan Bratman, in January - has admitted that she is finding it tough to shift her last few post-pregnancy pounds, reports China Daily.
"Now I am back in the gym trying to eat as healthy as I can except for my one cheat day a week," she said.
