Washington, December 20 : Former `The Beatles' stars Sir Paul McCartney and John Lennon once sent their personal ads to a local music magazine because they were very keen on seeing their names in print.
McCartney has revealed that the two of them and their guitarist bandmate George Harrison contacted a small publication in Liverpool, England, so as to get their written work published.
London, Nov 16 : Former road manager of the Beatles is impenitent about disclosing the extent of the disruption he believed John Lennon’s wife Yoko Ono caused to the legendary band.
Tony Bramwell had raised eyebrows with his ferocious attack on Yoko in his recent memoirs, Magical Mystery Tours.
Being one of the last surviving members of the Beatles’ inner circle, he claimed that her initial interest in Lennon was based on his vast fortune, blamed her for the group’s break-up and accused her of interfering with recording sessions.
