New Delhi, Feb 17 : Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader and prime ministerial candidate Lal Krishna Advani on Tuesday generously praised Union External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and wondered what the UPA Government would have done without him.

New Delhi, Feb 16 : The Leader of opposition, L K Advani, on Monday, said that the Congress party has failed in its attempts to support the common man.

"At the end of this Government''s five-year tenure there are people in the top financial brackets who may be happy that they have become multi-millionaires or billionaires, but the Aam Admi (common man) feels badly let down." said Advani.

The Bharatiya Janata Party leader said that the middle class household budget has gone haywire due to the soaring prices of essential commodities, particularly foodstuffs.

These economists had met in the wake of current economic crisis and the state of affairs in the Indian context which have been viewed as matter of serious concern

New Delhi, Feb 13 : Bhartiya Janata Party (BSP) prime ministerial candidate L K Advani accused the Congress- led UPA of being "insensitive" towards the Sri Lankan Tamils'' cause and dismissed the use of brutal force in resolving the grave issue.

New Delhi, Feb 11 : Addressing a function to mark the 56th death anniversary of BJP patron Deen Dayal Upadhyaya at the party headquarters here today, senior leader L K Advani said there is no place for untouchability in politics.

Questioning the social stigma attached to certain sections of society, Advani said, "If we cannot tolerate untouchability in social life, why should we ever even think of untouchability in politics?"

Advani urged BJP cadres to follow Upadhyaya''s example in their political career.

Nagpur, Feb. 8, : Bharatiya Janata Party's Prime Ministerial candidate L. K. Advani on Sunday said that National Democratic Alliance would recommend for the Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru's execution to the President of India, within 100 days of returning to the power at the Centre.
