Karunanidhi promises to implement Sixth Pay Commission recommendations on I-DayChennai, Aug. 15 : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi on Friday promised that his DMK-led Government would implement the recommendations of the Sixth Pay Commission approved by the Union Cabinet to the satisfaction of all employees.

Unfurling the national flag and addressing the people from the ramparts of Fort St. George on the occasion of the country’s 62nd Independence Day here, Karunanidhi said orders to this effect would be issued shortly.
