Washington, Feb. 5: US First Lady Michelle Obama, it seems, has a huge fan club.

This was apparent when crowds gathered inside and outside the huge headquarters of the Department of Education on Wednesday.

According to the Washington Post, Obama looked out over her fans and said: "Wow, There are a lot of you here."

The whole lot of cubicle-dwelling bureaucrats said they all wanted to see the most famous woman in the world.

Washington, Feb. 5 : US First Lady Michelle Obama has signaled that she intends to be more than just mom-in-chief at the White House by embarking on visits to her husband''s administration agencies.

According to Fox News, Michelle Obama visited the Department of Education earlier this week, and had to catch herself when she repeatedly used the word "we" as she discussed her husband''s policies.

Her planned visits to a slew of Cabinet agencies signal that she intends to take a far more active role than what she has given herself.

Washington, Feb. 4 : US First Lady Michelle Obama has been busy crafting policy agenda that will bring working-family issues into the White House.

According to a Politico report, she has surrounded herself with a team of veteran political insiders and seasoned policy advocates to achieve this goal.

"Our job is to think through with the president and with the president's team and assist in dialogue about policy. But the president is the policymaker," said Michelle Obama's chief of staff Jackie Norris.

Washington, Jan 31 : US President Barack Obama's wife Michelle is keeping it real - the mom-in-chief along with expensive Hollywood interior designer Michael Smith is redecorating the White House with items from the reasonably priced shop Pottery Barn, according to reports.

Smith said that he would take design cues from the Obamas'' "casual style" while "utilizing affordable brands."

Washington, Jan. 30 : Michelle Obama made her first public appearance since Inauguration Day, when she sat in the front row as President Barack Obama signed legislation on the issue of equal pay.

According to Politico, she nodded her head and at one point tapped her heart.

The bill, known as the Lilly Ledbetter Act for the person who brought the case, reverses a Supreme Court ruling that sharply limited the frame employees had to file pay-discrimination lawsuits.

Activists called her presence at the signing a statement.

Washington, January 30 : U. S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle braved a cold Thursday to attend a second-grade class presentation at Sidwell Friends School''s lower-school campus in Bethesda, which their 7-year-daughter Sasha attends.

According to reports, the President was wearing just a dark suit, without an overcoat.

Michelle was clad in a purple overcoat and lavender scarf.

Her office has not revealed as yet as to what was the reason for the visit-was Sasha making a presentation, or was another child?
