Oz police warn wannabe models against web predatorsSydney, March 26 : The Australian police have warned aspiring models against web predators, after a 35-year-old Indian national has been charged with sexually assaulting a young woman in Sydney.

Cops have revealed that the man used the online name James Carter, and posed as a modelling agent on social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook.

They allege that he arranged for a meeting with the woman after chatting with her online, spiked her drink, and raped her.

Found by Dr Wenju Cai and Tim Cowan, of CSIRO's Marine and Atmospheric Research, the link indicates that a weather pattern centred on the Indian Ocean may provide an early warning system for major bushfires in southern Australia.

According to a report by ABC News, 11 of 16 major bushfires in Victoria since 1950 have been preceded by what is known as a positive IOD event.
