Meet Mischief the moggie that’s 27 years old!

London, Dec 4 : Mischief, the world’s oldest cat, has celebrated his 125th birthday – which is equivalent to 27 human years.

The owners of the cat, Chris and Donna Thorne, revealed that the feline is growing, however, its growth has slowed down a little.

"It''s amazing - he just keeps going on and on,” The Telegraph quoted Donna Thorne, as saying.

The family revealed that Chris got the black cat from a friend way back in 1981, when he was just a kitten.

They added that their 20-month-old baby Skye is very fond of the pet.

"She loves him to bits, when he eventually goes we''ll have to get another one because she''ll be devastated,” Donna said.

London, December 4 : Mickey Rourke has been nominated for the ‘best actor’ category at Hollywood’s leading Spirit Awards for his comeback performance in the upcoming movie ‘The Wrestler’.

The ‘Angel Heart’ actor, who had been trained as a boxer in his early years and had had a short stint as a pro fighter in the 1990s, had starred alongside , Ernest Miller, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood in the film directed by Darren Aronofsky.

The sports drama, which won the Golden Lion Award for Best Film, has also been put forward for the best feature award, reports BBC.

The highs and lows of 25-year-old’s life will be used as a ''set text'' on the music course at the University of the West of Scotland.

The ‘Rehab’ hitmaker’s record company, Island, will provide teaching materials on the diploma and degree-level course.

Penelope Cruz bags Gotham Award for Woody Allen movie

Penelope CruzLondon, Dec 4 : Penelope Cruz bagged Best Ensemble Performance prize at Gotham Independent Film Awards for her role in Woody Allen movie ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’.

‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’, which starred Cruz, Scarlett Johansson, and Javier Bardem, shared the award with ‘Synecdoche, New York’, which has a cast-list including Philip Seymour Hoffman and Catherine Keener, reports the Daily Star.
