Britney SpearsWashingtonLondon, Dec 2 : Take That’s Gary Barlow has launched a scathing attack on chart rival Britney Spears, saying that he doesn’t see the point of her anymore.

Barlow made the comments as his band''s album The Circus raced past Spears'' album to top spot in the album chart, reports the Mirror.

And if beating Britney wasn''t enough, Barlow slammed her for miming on the X-Factor last weekend.

Speaking at the international launch of their new album in Paris, Gary said: “I don’t see the point of Britney anymore, she was rubbish on the show. I think she’s more famous than she deserves to be now.”

J.K. Rowling’s ‘Harry Potter farewell’ book set to hit bookshelves

Author JK RowlingLondon, December 3 : Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling’s new charity book, which is her unofficial farewell to the boy wizard’s adventures, goes on sale on Wednesday.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard, which finds a mention in the final Potter book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, comprises of five fairy tales.

One of the five tales is ‘The Tale of the Three Brothers’ that contains clues that were to prove crucial to Potter’s final mission to destroy Lord Voldemort.

The tome will be distributed by Bloomsbury in Britain, and by Scholastic in the US.

Six England players could pull out of India tour

India, EnglandLondon, Dec. 3 : At least six of England cricketers, who landed with the team in Mumbai last month, are likely to pull out of the tour to India, even as the ECB awaits an Indian Government assurance that the team will be guarded by crack commandos.

All rounder Andrew Flintoff and fast bowler Steve Harmison are thought to harbour major reservations about the trip. Fast bowler Ryan Sidebottom is out with an injury, and the other three who don’t want go, have not been named, former England fast bowler Dominic Cork says a majority of the team is pretty traumatized by last week’s terror attacks in Mumbai.
