Lindsay knocks back break-up rumours

LIndsay LohanLondon, December 3 : Lindsay Lohan, who has been dating Samantha Ronson since earlier this year, has given rumours claiming her break-up with the DJ a beating.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress was said to have been contemplating the split following a series of arguments with her girlfriend, reports the Daily Star.

Brit tabloid the Sun had reported that the pair had been caught up in a spat outside a London nightclub that had left the star “in tears”.

The singer, however, told MySpace fans that she had been sick and tired of the rumours, adding that the two were still together.

London, December 3 : Despite global credit crunch, condom sales in the UK have shot up as affected couples prefer to spend their nights within the four walls.

While Durex saw a 10 percent rise in its sales generating 126.4 million pounds in the six months to September 30, Internet retailer Ocado recorded a staggering 60 percent growth in sales.

UK security under review following Mumbai terror strike

London, Dec. 3 : The counter-terrorism sub-committee of Britain’s House of Commons has called for the recruitment of a special and quick reaction force of about 500 personnel to keep the country safe from a terrorist strike similar to what happened in Mumbai last week.

Undertaking a review of Britain’s national security policy, the sub-committee said that the security agencies are aware of the possibility of homegrown Muslim extremists attempting to carry out copycat assaults on "soft targets" in the UK.
