London - British Airways confirmed Tuesday that it is in merger talks with Australia's Qantas airlines.

In a press release, British Airways said the talks, which would look at a dual-listed company structure, were ongoing.

"There is no guarantee that any transaction will be forthcoming and a further announcement will be made in due course, if appropriate," the release stated.

Shares in British Airways jumped 14 per cent on the news.

Spears, 27, released the two US commercials for her perfume ranges, called Curious and Fantasy, and the ads show her having a saucy bedroom fantasy in a hotel, and being chased by a sexy hunter in a magical forest and shot by a love arrow.

The ads were screened in America in the breaks during Spears’ MTV documentary ‘Britney: On The Record’ on November 30.

London, Dec 2 : Lead vocalist of American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses, Axl Rose’ has been blamed for the group missing out on the No 1 album after he disappeared for two months.

The album the group was gunning the top spot for was their latest release Chinese Democracy, which took them 15 years and 15million pounds to record.

But they lost out to The Killers’ Day & Age in Sunday’s UK album chart rundown, with Brandon Flowers’ group notching up sales of 200,000 during the week, 80,000 more than Guns N’ Roses.
