Brit secondary schools, colleges should have on site sex clinics, says charity

London, Nov 23 : In a bid to improve teenagers'' access to sex advice, a British charity has suggested that all secondary schools and colleges should have on site sexual health clinics.

According to the National Children''s Bureau, every 11 to 18-year-old in the UK should get advice on contraception, pregnancy tests and screening for sexually transmitted diseases between lessons, reports the Telegraph.

The leading charity also said that sixth-formers should get compulsory sex education up to 18 – extending a requirement already in place for those under 16.

The conclusions have been made in two reports.

Islamist fighters in Somalia enter pirate town in hope of booty

London, Nov 23: Heavily armed fighters of Somalia’s hardline Islamist movement, Shabaab militia, have entered the pirate town in hope of spoils from the hijacked Saudi oil tanker, the Sirius Star.

The piracy crisis in the Indian Ocean took a dramatic new twist with the entry of hardline Islamist movement fighters, who have tried to impose brutal law and order in Somalia, The Telegraph reported.

The fighters from the Shabaab militia, a fundamentalist movement likened to an African Taliban, were reported to have turned up in the port of Haradheere in southern Somalia, close to where the tanker is currently anchored.

The Telegraph reported that just 20 helicopters are fit for service out of available 67 with the Army Air Corps, for combat in Afghanistan or for training pilots in the United Kingdom.

US drone strike reportedly kills British terror suspect

Islamabad  - A fugitive British militant was among victims of a missile attack believed carried out by a US pilotless aircraft Saturday on a militant hideout in Pakistan's restive tribal region along the border with Afghanistan, Pakistani media reports said.

The attack killed five people and injured five more, Pakistani intelligence officials said. Local media reports said Rashid Rauf and another al-Qaeda terrorist, were killed.

Rauf, a British citizen of Pakistani origin, was once suspected of involvement in an alleged plot to blow up trans-Atlantic jetliners, and had been on the run after escaping Pakistani custody.

Hirst, 43, who sold a whole collection of works in September for a sum of 111 million pounds (164 million dollars), has told 17 workers who make the "pills" for the artist's drug-cabinet series, that their contracts will not be renewed.
