London, Nov 22 : The Duchess of Cornwall is planning to take up pilates or Tai Chi to protect herself from osteoporosis.

Camilla Parker, 61 has urged the women over the age of 50 to lead more active lifestyles at the National Osteoporosis Society (NOS),

The Duchess, who lost her mother and grandmother to the condition, admitted to feeling "quite naughty" about her own lack of exercise.

She is now considering taking up pilates or even some Tai Chi.

"I did do a bit of yoga and used to do a lot of walking before I got married but I have let things slide," the Telegraph quoted her, as saying

London, Nov 22 : A new generation of ultra-low-power computers may soon be a reality, courtesy microchips that process information without moving electrons.

The conventional computer chips process information in the form of electric charges and transmitted by physically moving electrons from one place to another.

Using this technique, engineers were able to pack numerous transistors onto a single chip.

However, as transistors become smaller, tiny variations in the structure of the materials they are made from can affect the smooth electron flow, which makes it difficult to guarantee that neighbouring transistors are alike.

Police helicopter avoids crashing into UFO in UK, claims report

UFOLondon, November 22 : A police helicopter nearly collided with a UFO over Birmingham, says a report.

The incident is detailed in a document compiled by experts from the Airprox Board, which records near misses and reports them to the military and air traffic control units.

The reports suggests that the pilot managed to swerve out of the mystery aircraft''s way while he was on a routine police surveillance task over the city centre earlier this year.

Reverend David McCullough, minister of Dromore Reformed Presbyterian Church in Northern Ireland, is afraid that the band’s single ‘Better’, which features homosexual singer Stephen Gately getting up close with a male actor, may deliver some wrong message to the public.

"This video, that will be watched by millions, is sending out a deadly message to young people,” the Daily Express quoted him as telling Northern Ireland newspaper.

Pietersen fears Guwahati ODI may also be affected by bad light

Bangalore, Nov. 22 : England cricket captain Kevin Pietersen has warned that the one-day international to be played at Guwahati, could also be decided by the Duckworth-Lewis rules, as bad light could curtail play.

Guwahati is the venue for the sixth one-dayer on November 29.

"They [the authorities] will have to do something about Guwahati. We are going to start there at 8.30 a. m. but that will still not make too much of a difference. It could get dark there by 3.30 p. m.," Cricinfo quoted Pietersen, as saying.

Guwahati is located in the north east and the sun sets earlier in the region than elsewhere in India.
