Ben AffleckLondon, Nov 21 : Hollywood actor Ben Affleck is urging the world to help stop the suffering of innocent civilians in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa.

The ‘Pearl Harbor’ star met with aid officials and toured refugee bases on a trip to the Central African country, where some 250,000 people have been displaced by fighting.

And now Affleck, who has made a documentary about the country''s problems, has called for help to stop the suffering of innocent civilians.

London, Nov 21 : Tom Hanks'' wife Rita Wilson is caught up in a legal battle over the non-payment of a ‘The Beatles’ poster.

The actress made a deal to pay 50,000 pounds for a vintage picture of the Fab Four to seller Melissa Pearl.

Wilson was buying the poster for her actor hubby.

However, the only condition she had was that Pearl had to provide proof of authenticity, according to papers filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court.

But when Pearl failed to furnish the proof, Wilson backed out of the deal, according to celebrity website TMZ. com.

Meghalayan man with 12 toes, 13 fingers may bag Guinness World record

London, November 21: A Meghalayan man’s claim that he has the most fingers and toes on Earth has prompted Guinness World Records bosses to probe whether he has become the third Indian national to hold world record for having the larges number of digits.

Tammiki Passah, of Jaintia Hills district, has 25 digits in all — 12 toes and 13 fingers.

According to the Austian Times, he can be proclaimed a world record holder if his joint claim is authorised by the book.

The man, who nearly got blind after a childhood bout of typhoid, claims that his 13 fingers have given him an increased sense of touch, and that he can identify any coin just by feeling it.
