Rockland Group to spend Rs 1200 crore for Healthcare facilities
The Rockland Group has informed that it will invest Rs 1200 crore to create a chain of Healthcare facilities in the National Capital Region.
Under the proposed plan, the group will construct buildings of 4 new multi specialty hospitals, satellite clinics and an interactive media platform.
Yesterday, the group launched the OPD facilities of the 250-bedded Rockland Manesar multi specialties hospital, which is the second in the chain of Hospitals.
Rockland Hospital claims that that about 1,50,000 people working in the area will directly benefit from the facilities.
The IFC, a World Bank Group member, has partnered with Rockland in its first phase of expansion. It has pumped Rs 50 crore in Rockland hospitals.
The Group is presently doubling the capacity at its existing Hospital at Qutab Institutional Area, Delhi.
Furthermore, the Rockland Group also plans to reach out to people living in hinterland areas.
